Yes, the tires on our scooters are solid rubber. There is no air inside the tires, which prevents you from ever having deflated tires.
Yes, the scooters will drive on loose gravel, however, we do not advise attempting to drive your scooter over large rocks, uneven surfaces, or other uneven terrains. They are not meant for "off-roading".
The scooter was not designed to be driven in a snow/rain environment, as wetness may damage the electrical components of the scooter. Additionally, driving in bad weather conditions can be a serious safety issue for the driver as the scooter may lose traction at times.
Yes, the scooter supports up to 8 degrees of incline/decline. We recommend you leaning forward and not sit against the backrest of the seat in an incline situation, as it will help with the scooters center of gravity and prevent tipping incidents.
One battery normally retails for $550. Please see the retail sheet for prices. Packages are on sale at show pricing only for the show.
We offer a three-year warranty on our frame, which is longer than most other warranties because we use aircraft-grade aluminum which is lightweight and sturdy. You also receive a one year warranty on all electrical and motor parts, as well as a 6-month warranty on the battery.
We will pay the shipping costs in 48 of the US States. Alaska and Hawaii unfortunately will require additional shipping costs. Please provide us with an exact address to get a door-to-door shipping quote. We ship via FedEx that requires a signature for delivery.
Our scooters are made to be as maintenance-free as possible. No need to change oil, and the flat-free tires prevent any need for replacement. Yes, our batteries have been approved for use inside airports and on airlines. Our Scooter batteries have passed the UN 38.3 battery safety test.
Estimated at 14 miles on one fully charged battery, but each individual case may be different depending on weight, incline, and ground surface.
The battery has a lifetime of about 500 charging cycles. Essentially, you can travel thousands of miles before you'd ever have to replace the battery.
That depends on the airline, some airlines allow travelers to drive all the way up to the gate, but we recommend calling your airline in advance to check.
At the moment, our scooters are not covered by Medicare or Medicaid. We aren't aware of any insurance plans that do cover our scooters, but we advise consulting your insurance provider. Some insurance providers may reimburse you for partial cost of a scooter, but we do not handle any insurance paperwork nor do we bill via any insurance code yet. However, if you get a prescription from your doctor, you may be eligible to purchase it exempt from sales taxes.
If you ordered the wrong item, shipped to an incorrect address or never received your order please email us right away at email@example.com. We will make every effort to stop the shipment but in an event we cannot stop the order in time, please reject shipment and send back to shipper or else you will be responsible for the extra for shipping.
If you purchase something online, you will have 14 days to send a request to exchange or return a product. If 14 days have gone by since the date of your purchase and we have not received a written email or call, unfortunately, we will not be able to offer a refund or exchange. To begin a return or exchange, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your invoice or order number and reason for return. We will send you a reply within 24-48 hours. Depending on the reason for return, we will let you know where to ship the order back. Please do not ship directly to us, we are not responsible for lost packages that are sent to the wrong address. Please note, customers are subject to up to 20% for used product, restocking fee for shipping and handling charges.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return if purchased from somewhere else besides online, we require a copy of receipt or proof of purchase.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will refund the amount less restocking fees to the original method of payment within 7 business days of receipt, however, please note depending on your bank, it may take up to an additional 7 business days for them to post to your account.
If your box is damaged upon receiving it, please take a photo and email that photo to email@example.com. We will advise what to do and if we need to replace the item.
If you received your item but you believe there is a defect, please send an email with pictures or a video of what is not working along with a written description.
